Happy New Year! I went home for 5 weeks over the holidays. Much happened, but I didn't take my camera out of my purse once. Well, once when I thought I lost something, but not to take pictures. It was a wonderful visit and I got to see and hang out with all of my California peeps. Here are some highlights in no particular order:
1. Girls night out for dinner at Woodranch.
2. Watching t.v. show in real time, bonus-with family.
3. Taking the kids to Ferrell's Ice Cream parlor.
4. Eating Miguel's-remember this is NO particular order.
5. Christmas Eve, Christmas Day
6. Wearing flip flops and t-shirts
7. Utilizing Pinterest with my mom recipes and cleaning tips.
8. Seeing palm trees in the sky line
9. Going to a Temple sealing.
10. Sleeping in my own bed.
Kaylene and I have a tradition of ringing in the new year together.
During the fall in Hyde Park, the colors of the leaves were amazing! These pictures do not do them justice, but I snapped a few shots. I love London fall.
Camille is friends with Miss California so when Miss America was on t.v. she invited everyone over for the festivities. Clearly, from this picture we know who the real winner is.
Tammy was lucky that I was in town to celebrate her birthday! One of her friends that came to dinner brought there sweet baby and since we were wearing almost the exact same outfit we had to take a picture.
I brought Spumoni cupcakes-a Pinterest recipe that I will use again.
