Plethora Of Events

Life is good in the Beehive state. I'm learning lots at my internship, I have a second part-time job at a gym and the weather has been beautiful! J and I took Captain for another hike, this time a little closer to home.

 Who's a handsome boy?

Here is a random sunrise. I've been doing P90X at 6am so I get to see some amazing sunrises.
I suck at taking selfies. I can't take any of myself or with someone. This is a classic example of how much I suck at it.
I love J pose! The wind hit him just right and he's got his hand on his hip! Someone call Abercrombie and Fitch, we have a new model!
Not the worst.
 Another sunrise.
The gym that I work at had a summer Solstice 80's party.

It was a neon 80's Zumba dance party!
Everyone dressed up! This is one of our instructors. He wore this Marge Simpson's wig during the 'Love Shack' dance.

 Another instructor, I love her!

 I love Utah sunsets.
 Super Moon!

Hiking In Park City

I went to Smith's to pick up some groceries and they had the most BEAUTIFUL flowers! I wanted to buy them, but as you can see they cost $30 and I just don't have that kind of green to buy petals. So I took pictures of them instead! I absolutely love the color of them!

Last weekend, J and I took Captain for a hike on a trail near Park City. Now I may not be a camper, but I AM a hiker. I like being outdoors in small doses. As long as there is a promise of a shower and the comfort of my bed in the near future, I don't mind being outside in God's beauty.
Captain had a great time. We got him nice and tuckered out.
On our way up the mountain.

 My new shades.

It's hard to tell but the mountain had some yellow and purple flowers and in a couple of weeks it's going to look even more incredible!

Siblings. Brother and sister. Best friends. Hiking companions. Buddies. Mentor/student. Lots of love happening in this photo.

This open area and those purple flowers made me think of Edward and Bella's meadow.

This is where trees go to die. Tree Trunk Graveyard.

R.I.P Ray Bans

Last weekend in Moab when I fell out of the boat, my Ray Bans fell off and have been swimming with the fish in the Colorado River ever since. I have been heartbroken for the past week without them. I really liked those sunglasses. They were like a protective hug on my face. So I'm going to remember some of the good times we had together.
There was that time we went to Lake District.

We went to Primrose Hill and enjoyed the magnificent view.

There was that time we were in Paris.
 And let's not forget Mykonos.

We celebrated sunny days in London.
And watched the sun go down in Huntington Beach.
We also hiked to the HOLLYWOOD sign.
Then we hung out at Disneyland.
Best of all, we had cupcakes together.
A lot of good times. But not to worry. I have since been to Nordstrom and have rescued a new pair of Wayfarers complete with carry case. In memory of the the original pair, I vow to take care of the new pair and not wear them in any bodies of water where they could fall off.
