Taylor Swift Red Tour Concert

I took the girls to our THIRD Taylor Swift Concert on August 19th. I absolutely love this tradition. I always have so much fun and as far as I can tell, the girls do too. I had a rough start because I got lost on the way to the Staple Center. Curse my GPS! We ended up in East Jose no where, 18 miles from the venue so we missed the opening acts. Next time, I'm getting a limo. We had pretty good seats, center stage but way up high.
 I love love love them!
Just before the show started. I was thrilled that the girls got all snazzy for the concert!
 Besties!
 RED

Ed Sheeran came out and sang Everything Has Changed
 I loved this stage look.
Taylor Swift and Cher Lloyd sang, I Want You Back
I have this great video of Lily singing this song. I can't figure out how to upload videos to my blog but once I do, it will be up!
Sara Boreilles came out and sang Brave with T-Swift.
She puts on a great show. The girls and I loved it.
Outside the Staple Center at the end of the night we held a little photo sesh.
She may or may not be taller than me.
 My best girls!
After we snapped these shots a gentleman with a professional camera stopped us and asked for a picture to put on LA Weekly dot com. We were photo number 46. It was way cute too.
I am going to continue to carry on this tradition for as long as Taylor Swift is a musician. It is my favorite thing to do with the girls and we made it through the WHOLE night without any fighting! My favorite part of going to concert with these two is looking over at them and seeing them belting out the songs! I am so blessed to have these two as my nieces!

Crystal Cove Beach

Kaylene and I had a beach day. I've been trying to have as many of these as possible this month. We went on an adventure and ended up at Crystal Cove Beach State Park. When we first got there, it was over cast and gloomy. Once it wore of though, it was beautiful!
This is what we showed up to. Yuck.
This guy was our beach friend for the day!
All smiles even though there is no sun.

I'm not very good at selfies. I tried to get me and the beach in the background. Fail.

I love this picture! I didn't mean to get it at a wanky angle but I think it looks cool.

 Besties!

I love this shot because it reminds of something you might see on the east coast like in North Carolina or something.
Not a bad selfie.

High School Reunion

Many moons ago when I was in high school, I became pretty good friends with Nicole. I can remember in my junior and senior year being early to school and Nikki was there and would give me a bone-crushing-squeeze-the-air-out-of-my-lungs morning hug. We were never best friends but we close enough that over the years I've missed having her in my life.
In fact, I showed up to our high school reunion in hopes that Nicole would be there. Sadly she was not. So before my journey home from SLC, I contacted Nicole and told her I was driving through Vegas and did she want to meet up at a Starbucks. Luck for me her and her cute family had some time to meet! I was so glad she brought her wife and baby. They are just the sweetest family and Nikki seems so happy. Her wife is sweet, friendly and kind and her little girl is SUPER cute! What a great baby. She let me hold her and was all smiles. It was the highlight of my drive home.

Totally Awesome Going Away Party At GymJam

By day I worked in the KSL news room, but by night I was the front desk receptionist at GymJam Fitness and Dance. It was by far one of my favorite jobs. I got to greet everyone and check them in for their gym class. I met a lot of wonderful people and my boss was SUPER cool. She and the other class instructors organized and threw me an 80's Zumba Dance Party complete with balloons, snacks and an hour or getting our groove on! I felt real special. It was so sweet. I think some of the girls were disappointed that I didn't wear he L.A. Gear outfit to this party. It was difficult to breath in those jeans, much less Zumba!
 The party!
Sweet Stephanie, one of the instructors. She always had a smile on her face.
 Don't mind the sweat!
 My preggo sis in law!
 Tee-Hee!
Marylynn, my boss, my P90X instructor and my friend.

Oh, sweet, funny Michelle. I will miss everyone!
This cute message was on the white board as you walk into the gym:
"Dear Susan, We will miss your inspiration, your perspiration and especially your dedication. We love your face! Your smile! Your laugh! We are so glad you came all this way to share your LA Gear outfit with us. We will never forget seeing you dance at the front desk during class or listening to you sing along to the music. You will be greatly missed, Susan!!-GymJam Family."

Susan "Not even Richard Simmons could throw as awesome of a party as this!" B.
