Honours Night, Isle of Wight and Snog

It was Honours Night last week. Everyone on the Deans list gets dressed up and goes to the Richmond Hill Hotel for dinner and awards. It's like Oscar Night, but less paparazzi.
Annie, Beck and I brought the party!
Here is Miss Maggie! I love this girl. So many assignments I have discussed and consulted with Maggie. I'm really gonna miss her next semester. BUT, she said I could Facebook her with any concerns I have with my assignments, so that's comforting.
Remember Alice? My first friend at uni. She is also graduating in May. It will be sad not to see her on campus but, she's from England so I'm counting on lunch/dinner dates while I'm still here.
My favourites! Anderson, Beck and Tracy! I love, love, love these three ladies!
Just had soup, waiting for the main course. Beck actually took home four awards that night. It was like sitting with Jack Nicholson.
This is some of the students that worked on the uni newspaper. We got an award for Best New Club! I am so proud of us! For years the uni newspaper hasn't been running and this semester we worked hard and made it something that students looked forward to reading.

I went on a day trip to the Isle of Wight. I have been wanting to go here for months. The picture above is the location that the Titanic set sail from.
Of course in true English fashion, it rained the WHOLE day. The Island was beautiful and I'm guessing much more beautiful when the sun is out. Most of the pictures of from inside the tour bus.

The rain on the window represents the tears of my soul.

We stopped for lunch. I love how most of the towns establishments look like gingerbread houses.
We ate at a tea house called The Bat's Wing.
 Tammy and Coco.
They hung and displayed witches around the seating area. There was also some religious decor that confused me.

 BIGGEST spoon ever!

Behind that gate is a beautiful, massive waterfall. A waterfall that I did not get to see because "they only take cash". Lame.
 Soldier memorial.

This semester I had to write a senior essay. The word count was suppose to be between 6000-8000 words. Mine was 7365. After turning it in, I felt a sense of liberation. This has been one of the hardest semester of my university life, so the girls and I decided we needed a Snog break.
Snog is a frozen yogurt joint in London.
 Shannon, Jenna, Madeline and Justice.
 Me, Beck and Annie.

I have had a great time with these two girls this past semester. Lots of laughs with them. They are both graduating in May and I'm gonna miss eating lunch and dinner with them in the Cafe.
 Annie is incredible!
Jenna understands me. We are both shorties from SoCal.

OUTTAKES:

Shannon is always good for a laugh! We really connect. It's our love for the movie Pitch Perfect.

Susan "EXTRA!, EXTRA! It rained in London"B.
